Week 5

ONE SLEEP TO GO!
CAMP

I hope everyone is packed and ready to go for an awesome, action pack week ahead.  A big mihi out to Koka Ana and her whanau for making it possible for our whole Turanganui Syndicate to attend camp together.   As you can imagine there is so much organising behind the scenes to make this all possible, we are truly lucky to be able to spend a week in a spot of paradise at the beautiful Omaio.

Please check out our syndicate blog page Turanganui Taonga  for all the information you need to know including expected time of arrival on Thursday.

TURANGANUI TRIATHLON

On Friday we had our syndicate Triathlon.  I was so super proud of EVERYONE in room 24 as they all completed the INDIVIDUAL and then went on to do the TEAMS event.  I will post results and those students who will represent Turanganui at the school Triathlon next week.
For now check out some of our pics.

CLASS CERTIFICATES

Congratulations to Isaiah Tonga - Preston & Tobias Horsfield who were this weeks award winners at Friday assembly(photos to follow)

Isaiah has made a great start to the term by having a can do attitude and giving things a go, this was evident in our lunchtime touch rugby competition, kapa haka sessions and syndicate Triathlon.

Tobias is a friendly young man who is always willing to support others.  He was a great asset at our recent visit to Mindlab where he used his skills and knowledge to share with others.  Tobias is always willing to help out (often without being asked) and is an awesome class member of Room 24.
