I'm sure you would have noticed the beautiful taonga that your child has been wearing. We were all privileged to be apart of a wananga (meeting) session with Matua Walter Shepherd who designed them. Please ask your child about the meaning behind their taonga, each one has their own story. We are truly grateful to Koka Ana, Aunty V (SWISS social worker in school, STAND health camp, Jason Devery, Lytton High School, Stone Studio, and of course Matua Walter.
Congratulations to Tobias Horsfield who was this week's classroom certificate recipient. Tobias is a polite, cheerful young man who has a very good work ethic, not only does he always work hard but he is always willing to help others.
