Well it is so hard to believe that we have nearly reached the end of the term, looking back there is so much to reflection upon. Some of my personal highlights have been, working with highly skilled & like minded colleagues, seeing students transition from primary to intermediate with ease, confidence and maturity, taking the whole syndicate on camp to the beautiful Omaio, building a syndicate that promotes & displays our core school values - Respect, Intergrity, Self Management, Excellence as well as our syndicate values Kotahitanga (being as one), Manaakitanga (looking after one another) and Whakawhanaungatanga (building relationships) and finally feeling privileged to spend everyday with some energising, inspiring & truely fantastic students who make coming to school each and everyday a real pleasure.

Writing Extension
Hayley, Mairangi, Kiwa, Rongomai & Caleb were fortunate enough to be apart of the Turanganui writing extension group for this term. With the theme being ANZAC the group used the dove as a symbol to express their writing. This masterpiece was created by the whole group and is visual reminder once again for our fallen soldiers.
Please check out our Turanganui Blog for more detail on our week ahead, as there is lots going on this week. |
